Parallel Spring Seals
Widely used as the standard upgrade from packing to mechanical seals, parallel spring seals are common place in industry. General applications include but are not limited to Water, Food and Chemical processes. They can be utilised in many pumps, mixers, agitators and compressors.
The majority of Parallel spring designs utilize a rubber diaphragm to seal against the shaft and provide drive to the face. Parallel spring designs that utilize an o-ring to seal against the shaft are driven by the spring.
